Guided tour services are provided by the Centre free of charge.


Public Guided Tour Services

Available at designated time slots (commence at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. The schedule will also be posted at the entrance of the Centre.


Each tour lasts for about 45 minutes and admits 50 persons on a first come, first served basis. If there are more than 25 persons, they will be divided into two groups.


Visitors are required to register and get their tickets at the reception counter 30 minutes before each session starts, and to queue up at the designated meeting point 10 minutes before each session starts to get guided tour worksheets upon presentation of the tickets.


Group Guided Tour Services

Registered schools, non-profit making organisations and charitable organisations with 30 or more visitors* can apply for group guided tour services. For groups of persons with disabilities or elderly the number of visitors could be 10 or more.
* The number of visitors include teachers, staff and carers.


Each tour lasts for about 90 minutes and admits at a maximum of 70 persons. If there are more than 35 persons, they will be divided into two groups.


Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible organisations are required to submit the applications at least three weeks prior to their visits. Late applications will not be processed and the Centre reserves the right to approve the applications.





If the application is accepted, the Centre will issue a confirmation by email to inform the organisation concerned of the confirmed visit date and arrangement. The organisation is required to present the confirmation letter on the date of visit. If no reply is received from the Centre seven working days before the visit, please call the duty staff of the Centre at 2867 2935.


If there is a need to cancel the visit or change the application information, please notify the Centre at least five working days in advance to make arrangements.


Guided Tour Services in Urdu

A guided tour service in Urdu for a maximum of 35 persons is provided once a month.


Eligible organisations may also select Urdu as a language for conducting the guided tour services in their applications for group guided tour services. The Centre will make arrangement accordingly.


Points to Note

Visitors joining the guided tour services are required to observe and comply with the General House Rules of the Centre and other instructions relating to the guided tour services issued by the Centre’s staff.


There will not be prior announcement on any change or cancellation of the public and Urdu guided tour services. The Centre’s staff may also adjust the maximum number of visitors for each session having regard to special circumstance(s).


Guided tour services announced would be cancelled without prior notice if Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued/in force four hours before the guided tour session, or there are other extreme weather condition or on-site situation. For pre-booked group guided tour services, the Centre’s staff will later contact the affected organisation(s) for re-scheduling.
